The Effectiveness Of CPA Marketing

CPA Marketing or cost per click marketing is a popular online pricing advertising model in which the payment terms are solely based on qualifying actions like sales or registrations. The advertiser pays only when the customer clicks through an online banner advertiser and subsequently either buys the product, or asks for more product details or registers for a promotion of the product. The payment is made per customer or it can be based on a fixed percentage of the sales produced. This online pricing model is related to affiliate marketing and it does not involve a lot of risk as the payment is based on advertising that produces positive results.

Most companies and organizations prefer click per action marketing when they are advertising certain products and services. This marketing has the advantage of not having to waste money on unnecessary advertising. The Companies and the organizations only pay when actions like conversions, registrations etc, are made. One should not confuse click per action with cost per action marketing. Cost per action does not involve the payment of money on each and every click like click per action. It is only when the relevant actions are performed that payments are made.

CPA Marketing is also popularly known as Cost Per Acquisition as most of the cost per click offers are concerned with acquiring new customers by making sales. This model is also beneficial to measure the effectiveness of an advertising inventory that has been purchased by the company or the organization on a CPA basis. There are two pricing models that determine the pricing mode of cost per click and they are known as the flat rate and the bid based model.

Top 10 Website Mistakes

Having a Website is an invaluable tool for business… but having a bad one might be worse than having none at all. Whether you’re creating a brand new Website, or trying to figure out why the one you have isn’t working, beware these costly mistakes.

1) Choosing the Wrong Domain Name

Just like naming a new baby, considerable thought should go into your choice of a Domain name. It doesn’t have to be your company name, and in fact, sometimes it shouldn’t be.

Web addresses should ideally contain keywords, be easy to remember and easy to type. If you’re a for-profit business, your Website address should end in dot-com.

2) Not Capturing Visitor Info

How will you know who’s using your Website? Every visitor who leaves your site without giving their contact information is an opportunity lost. It’s vital that you capture visitor information. Offer a free newsletter, special report or membership – anything that gives visitors an incentive to sign up. Remember, people rarely buy on their first visit to a website. It takes time to build up trust and credibility. You can then contact them again in the future. You’ll also entice more people if you promise you won’t sell their information to anyone else. Easy Ways to Lighten Skin Spots

As women age, spots appear on the face, arms and shoulders. These spots are usually called age spots. But these spots are not directly connected with ones chronological age. These spots are caused by over exposure to the sun. Many women are concerned with these spots not for health concerns but because they are not nice to look. But removing skin spots should not be a big problem because there are several ways to do this. To help you with this concern, here are easy ways to lighten skin spots.
An easy and generally sure way to remove skin spots is through laser treatment. Laser treatments are done by experts to ensure safety. Though it is a guaranteed way to lighten skin spots they are not necessarily cheap. You need to spend hundreds of dollars for one laser treatment session. And usually you would need two or more sessions to free yourself of these unsightly spots.
Another easy way to remove skin spots is through cryosurgery. This surgery involves freezing to remove abnormal skin cells. It is a quick procedure and you could see results immediately. However, like laser treatment procedures, cryosurgery also involves a lot of money. You also need to spend hundred of dollars for this treatment. Read More...

A New Approach to Expatriate Pay in 2009

Too Much: The expatriate experiences short-term upside, as a result of a change in the exchange rate. A fall in the value of the host country currency against the home country currency, without an increase in the prices of goods and services in the host country, results in the expatriate having increased purchasing power. It may appear for a while that all is well. The expatriate has an unexpected windfall. A wise expatriate will save this windfall knowing that the situation will not be permanent. Either the exchange rate will adjust back to where it was or prices and inflation will begin to increase until economic equilibrium is achieved. The reality is, that in the short-term the employer will be faced with increased overall salary costs, and will eventually have to deal with disappointed expatriates when the trend inevitably reverses itself and their purchasing power drops again to realistic levels. MJ 'killed by Demerol shot given by aide as personal doctor slept'

Michael Jackson reported suffered a heart attack after an aide injected him with a shot of powerful painkiller Demerol, while the star's personal doctor was sleeping.

Dr. Conrad Murray was said to have previously admitted to police that he administered surgical anaesthetic Propofol to the King of Pop that same day.

It was alleged that the aide gave the shot to Jackson on the superstar's demand, reportedly causing his heart to stop.

"Murray would set up a system to give Michael a steady intravenous release of Diprivan through the night," British tabloid The Sun quoted a case insider as saying.

"But this time Michael woke up before Murray did and asked one of his aides for some Demerol.

"The aide gave it to him, but it was too soon after receiving the anaesthetic. That's what killed him,".

Serious note about heart attacks

Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of Nausea, and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets message and sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this ...It could save your life!!

Let's say it's 6.15 pm and you're driving home. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm, and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home.

Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

waving hands will charge your iPods, cell phones

Forget about plugging your iPod or BlackBerry into a power source ever again, for now you can charge these devices just by waving your hand, or stretching your arm, and even by taking a walk.

Scientists at Georgia have now come up with a new technology, called "nanogenerator", that converts mechanical energy from body movements or even the flow of blood in the body into electric energy.

And this electric energy can be used to power a broad range of electronic devices without using batteries. "This research will have a major impact on defense technology, environmental monitoring, biomedical sciences and even personal electronics," said lead researcher Zhong Lin Wang, Regents' Professor, School of Material Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The new "nanogenerator" could have countless applications, among them a way to run electronic devices used by the military when troops are far in the field. The researchers have described how it's possible to harvest energy from the environment by converting low-frequency vibrations, like simple body movements, the beating of the heart or movement of the wind, into electricity, using zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires that conduct the electricity.

The ZnO nanowires are piezoelectric - they generate an electric current when subjected to mechanical stress. The diameter and length of the wire are 1/5,000th and 1/25th the diameter of a human hair.

The process of generating energy from movement made the researchers to conclude that it was most effective to develop a method that worked at low frequencies and was based on flexible materials. The ZnO nanowires met these requirements.

Also, Wang said that a real advantage of the technology was that the nanowires could be grown easily on a wide variety of surfaces, like metals, ceramics, polymers, clothing and even tents. And the nanogenerators could operate in the air or in liquids once properly packaged.
"Quite simply, this technology can be used to generate energy under any circumstances as long as there is movement," said Wang.

The nanogenerator would be particularly critical to troops in the field, where they are far from energy sources and need to use sensors or communication devices. Wang also said that having a sensor, which doesn't need batteries, could be extremely useful to the military and police sampling air for potential bioterrorism attacks in the United States.

Although biosensors have been miniaturized and can be implanted under the skin, he points out that such devices still require batteries, and the new nanogenerator would offer much more flexibility.

A major advantage of the new technology is that many nanogenerators can produce electricity continuously and simultaneously.

The site does caution that, "as with all prayer, the final results are up to God as everything follows His will. We make no claims regarding the efficacy of the service."

'Drunk' policewoman crashes car in US State of Missouri, killing four Indian techies

Four Indian IT students, including three girls, were killed and another was injured when an off-duty and apparently drunk policewoman crashed her car into their vehicle on a highway in the US State of Missouri. The five, all hailing from Andhra Pradesh and studying for MS degree in information technology in Eastern Illinois University, were returning home on a Honda Accord when the policewoman's SUV, speeding on the wrong lane, hit them head-on in Des Peres, authorities said.

Four of the students -- Anusha Anumolu (23), Satya S Chinta (25), Anita Lakshmi (23) and Priya Muppvarapu (23) -- died on the spot while 27-year-old Nitesh Adusumilli, who was driving the car, was seriously injured. The policewoman, identified as 41-year-old Chrissy Miller, was off-duty from her job at the Sunset Hills Police Department.

She is also in a critical condition at St John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, media reports said. "They had a plan to go to an Indian restaurant and going to bowling alley, and they were returning back to home," said Suren Pathuri, an acquaintance of the victims.

He said the bodies of the four victims will be sent to India. "We do suspect that alcohol may have played a part in this crash on Miss Miller's part," said Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergent Al Nothum.

What is Recession?

This story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs.
He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and sold more. He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."
The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his Hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly and so did the profit. The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

Moral of the Story: It's all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think.

7 reasons the world will end in 2012

Scientific experts from around the world are genuinely predicting that five years from now, all life on Earth could well finish. Some are saying it'll be humans that set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religious folks are saying it'll be God himself who presses the stop button...

1. Mayan Calendar
The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things: Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and Sacrificing Virgins.
Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the end of the world right as well.

2. Sun Storms
Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.

3. The Atom Smasher
Scientists in Europe have been building the world's largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it's properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They're predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

4. The Bible Says...
If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn't bad enough, religious folks are getting in on the act aswell. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

5. Super Volcano
Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

6. The Physicists
This one's case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they've determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they're claiming their calculations prove, that we're all going to die, very soon - while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

7. Slip-Slop-Slap- BANG!
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so - and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

For Healthy Weight Loss You Need it All

When it comes to healthy weight loss, it is not nearly enough to just exercise. You must also eat properly to have a chance at success. It is also not enough to just eat right, you must still stay active and exercise regularly. One or two things will not help you achieve healthy weight loss to any significant level, however combining multiple high-quality methods will ensure you great results. This is not meant to scare you, nor is it meant to overwhelm you, rather this is a simple fact that most people completely ignore.

It amazes me how many people work out hard for an hour or so everyday and then hit up McDonald’s for lunch. The philosophy “I worked it off in the gym” just does not work in the real world. You can burn some extra calories through exercise, but you are throwing all that away if you continue to eat garbage. Sorry, but that’s the reality. Working out does not earn you the right to eat however you want, that is unless you want to stay in your current physical condition and put your health at risk. Read More...

Tips in Making Your Room Come Alive

Everyone wants their room to be unique and full of the things that they like. It does not matter if the room is small or big. As long as they can put whatever they want is fine with them. Others would even make their own unique wall hangings so that their room will stand out. Even though not everyone gets to see the inside, those fortunate to see it will surely admire the owner.

One tip if you really want to make your room special is to layout the things that you like. Colors, for example, will surely make your area different from the others. You can have a two-colored bedroom for a change. The walls can be one color and the ceiling another one. At least if you have two favorite colors, you can incorporate them in your bedroom. The nice thing about the hues that you will choose is that it would not clash one another. There may be times wherein you think that the colors you want will not jive together. You can always settle for a little or darker color for them to be in harmony with one another. Read More...

Republic Day Of India January 26

26th January is one of the most important days in Indian history as on 26th January 1950 the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. In this day India became a totally republican unit. The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since.

Today, the Republic Day is celebrated with much enthusiasm all over the country and especially in the capital, New Delhi where the celebrations start with the Presidential to the nation. The beginning of the occasion is always a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of the martyrs who died for the country in the freedom movement and the succeeding wars for the defense of sovereignty of their country. Then, the President comes forward to award the medals of bravery to the people from the armed forces for their exceptional courage in the field and also the civilians, who have distinguished themselves by their different acts of valour in different situations.

To mark the importance of this occasion, every year a grand parade is held in the capital, from the Rajghat, along the Vijaypath. The different regiments of the army, the Navy and the Air force march past in all their finery and official decorations even the horses of the cavalry are attractively caparisoned to suit the occasion. The creme of N.C.C cadets, selected from all over the country consider it an honour to participate in this event, as do the school children from various schools in the capital. They spend many days preparing for the event and no expense is spared to see that every detail is taken care of, from their practice for the drills, the essential props and their uniforms.

The 7 Best Foods for Weight Loss

Losing weight is not about starving yourself and subsisting on seltzer. Eat too little and the only place you'll feel lighter is your head. Plus, research shows that any pounds you lose will likely come back--plus more. One of the healthiest ways to shed pounds for good is to eat power foods that are naturally filling, nutrient-packed and, yes, proven to help you peel off pounds. Pile your plate with these prize possessions!

Women on a diet that included red meat lost more weight than those eating equal calories but little beef, according to a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. One reason: The protein in lean cuts of steak helps you keep muscle mass during weight loss, and muscle incinerates more calories than fat, so you will shed more stubborn pudge. Try it: Grill or broil a 4-ounce serving of top round or sirloin; slice thinly to top a salad, or mix with veggies for fajitas.

The breakfast staple can trim off inches all over. Research from the Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge found that women on a low-calorie diet who ate an egg with toast and jelly each morning lost twice as many pounds as those who had a bagel breakfast with the same number of calories but no eggs. Turns out, egg protein is particularly satisfying, so you liikely eat less during the course of the day.
Try it: Enjoy a morning omelette or frittata, or top your lunchtime salad with hard-boiled eggs.

These beans can help banish belly bloat and reduce your belt size. Chock full of protein and soluble fiber, lentils can stabilize blood sugar levels and prevent insulin spikes that cause your body to create excess fat, especially in the abdominal area.
Try it: Toss lentils in soups, salads or pasta sauce. Or try this delicious Lentil Pilaf with Turkey Sausage.

Low in calories, this fruit gets high marks for taste and nutritional content, thanks to a healthy dose of folate, fiber and disease-deterring antioxidants.Try it: Skip the juice and snack on the seeds instead. Toss them into salad in place of nuts. Or try these Pomegranate and Cranberry Bellinis from Giada DeLaurentiis (one of her holiday faves).

Some like it hot, and for good reason. Eating spicy numbers will spike your metabolism, courtesy of a compound in chiles called capsaicin, which helps the body burn extra calories for 20 minutes after you eat them. Bonus: It can be downright painful to inhale a plate of chiles, so you'll eat slower, allowing your brain adequate time to register that it is full and prevent overeating.
Try it: Sample the savory entree that chef Nigella Lawson shared with SELF.

It might be hard to pronounce (it's KEEN-wah), but eating quinoa offers a simple way to ward off the munchies. The grain is teeming with fiber (2.6 grams per 1/2 cup) and protein to keep you humming and hunger-free for hours.
Try it: Replace the rice in stir-fries with quinoa.

Say cheese! Women who had one serving of whole milk or cheese daily were less likely to gain weight over time, a study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition finds. Dieters who ate lowfat varieties of dairy did not experience the same benefit. Why? Whole dairy may contain more conjugated linoleic acid, which could assist in the fat-burning department. And since Parmesan is so flavorful, you only need a few sprinkles to gain maximum flavor without compromising its pound-shedding power.
Try it: Grate Parmesan over veggies such as broccoli or asparagus, or pair a 1-ounce portion with an apple.
