11 Rules for the life

1. Life is not fair - get used to it!

2. The world does not care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

3. You will not receive $60,000 a year right after school. You will not be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn them.

4. You think your teacher is tough? Wait until you get a boss.

5. Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping - they called it opportunity.

6. If you mess up, it's not the fault of your parents, not hnychte, learn from mistakes.

7. Before you were born, your parents were not as boring as they are now. They got that way paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you start to save the world from your parent's generation, clean the toilet in your own room.

8. Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. It has nothing to do with real life.

9. Life is not divided into semesters. You do not get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Look at your expense!

10. TV - this is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to go to work and not sit at the coffee shop.

11. Be nice to nerds. It is not excluded that you will soon be working for one of them.

10 Secrets for Success!!!

1. Study the competition.

2. Be firm. Superior quality manager faces up to even the bad news. Keep calm, and then every problem will be resolved quickly. First, always try to learn the bad news, then good.

Secret of success: Get the mind-set of an ant!

All of us tend to look up to big people for lessons on how to get better. We are keen to learn the secrets of their success. But we forget that sometimes the biggest lessons in life come from the smallest folks around us. Now that’s a good lesson to remember!
Take ants for instance. Would you believe those small creatures can teach us how to live a better life? Jim Rohn - the great motivational guru – developed what he called the ‘Ants Philosophy’.
He identified four key lessons from the behaviour of ants that can help us lead better lives. Jim Rohn is no more – but his messages continue to inspire. Here then, are the four lessons from Rohn’s ‘Ants Philosophy’. Read more...

I Love My Mom - Do you ? Happy Mothers Day SMS (Short Message Story)

Mothers Day SMS Why are you crying, a young boy asked his Mom? "Because I'm a woman," she told him."I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said,
"And you never will, but that's O.K.".......Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does Mom seem to cry for no reason?"."All women cry for no reason," was all his Dad could say......

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him, he asked "God, why do women cry so easily? "GOD answered......"When I made woman,I decided she had to be special. I made her shouldersstrong enough to carrythe weight of the world, yet, made her arms gentle enough to give comfort...I gave her the inner strengthto endure childbirthand the rejection that many times will comeeven from her own children.

I gave her a hardnessthat allows herto keep going and take careof her family and friends, even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue withoutcomplaining....I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and allcircumstances. Even when her child has hurt her badly....She has the very special power to make a child's boo-boo feel better andto quell a teenager's anxieties and fears....

I gave her strength to care for her husband, despite faultsand I fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart....

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, butsometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside himunfalteringly....For all of this hard work,

I also gave her a tear to shed. It is hers to usewhenever needed and !it is her only weakness....When you see her cry, tell her how much you love her, and all she does for everyone, and even thoughshe may still cry, you will have made her heart feel good.

She is special!
Love Your Mother Always And Keep Her Smiling :)

A Mother Love - Mothers Day Special Story

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was make Dinner,
and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:
For cutting the grass: $ 5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $ 5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $ 2.00
Total owed: $ 14.75
Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:
For the 9-months I carried you while you were growing inside me:
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you:

No Charge. For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years:

No Charge. For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead:

No Charge. For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:

No Charge.Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is:

No Charge.. When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".
Lesson:
You will never how much your parents are worth till you become a Parent.
Be a giver not an asker, especially with your parents. There is a lot to give, other than money.
Advice:IF your mom is alive and close to you, give her a big kiss and ask her for forgiveness.
If she is far away, call her.
If she has passed away, pray for her.
so say your mother, u love her and u care her, and ask her for forgiveness if u hurt her.

Answer: She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again.

If you answered this correctly , you think like a psychopath .. This was a test by a famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly. If you didn't answer the question correctly, good for you.

Be sure to share the test!

Always be positive......

Eleven Rules For Healthy Friendship

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, But what is morepainful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it'salso true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it takes a lifetimeto forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what youwant to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you,it probably hurts the person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; atimely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everythingthey just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When youwere born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED

Well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"Still the hands were up in the air."Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air. "My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams."VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

Secret Behind The Success Of Marriage

Once upon a time a married couple celebrated their 25th marriage anniversary.
They had become famous in the city for not having a single conflict in their period of 25 years.

Local newspaper editors had gathered at the occasion to find out the secret of their well known "happy going marriage".

Editor: "Sir. It's amazingly unbelievable. How did you make this possible? "
Husband recalling his old honeymoon days said:
"We had been to Shimla for honeymoon after marriage.
Having selected the horse riding finally, we both started the ride on different horses.
My horse was pretty okay but the horse on which my wife was riding seemed to be a crazy one.

On the way ahead, that horse jumped suddenly, making my wife topple over.
Recovering her position from the ground, she patted the horse's back and said "This is your first time".

She again climbed the horse and continued with the ride. After a while, it happened again. This time she again kept calm and said "This is your second time" and continued.

When the horse dropped her third time, she silently took out the revolver from the purse and shot the horse dead !!
I shouted at my wife: "What did you do you psycho. You killed the poor animal. Are you crazy?" ..

She gave a silent look and said: "This is your first time!!!"."
Husband:"That's it. We are happy ever after. "

Don't let the cups drive you, enjoy the coffee instead

Take a Coffee
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university lecturer. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said: "If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones.

While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."

"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change." "Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

So frnz, don't let the cups drive you...enjoy the coffee instead.

The 4 Wives: Do read really a nice and learning story

There was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He's very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men.

He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant's confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times.

Now, the merchant's 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I'll be alone. How lonely I'll be!"

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.

The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant's heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!" The merchant's heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I always turned to you for help and you've always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated.

Then a voice called out : "I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have !"

Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives

a. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.

b. Our 3rd wife ? Our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.

c. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

d. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.

How to relax our Mind? Do read Worth Reading.

A mind filled with tension and unhappiness leads to negative thoughts. Such a mind creates problems to oneself and others.

In a contrast, a mind is relaxed and happy comes from positive thoughts. Transforming negative thoughts into positive thoughts is a hallmark of wisdom. It is well illustrated by Gautama Buddha, in an anecdote.

Once Buddha was addressing a large gathering of disciples. During the disclosure, one person, out of jealousy, abused Buddha. Buddha lovingly replied, “people are waiting to listen to my discourse in the neighbouring village; please do come tomorrow”.

The man was shocked. He asked Buddha, “Are you not hurt by my harsh words?” Buddha replied, “In order to hurt me, you should have met before my Enlightenment. Just as fire loses its potency when it comes into contact with water, your words, even though full of fury, lost their sharpness when they are hurled at me now”.

This is the positive thought centre one has to awaken. Before Buddha’s Enlightenment everything and everybody hurt him. But after he attained illumination the negative thought centre has changed completely. There is yet another story that inspires us into a different thought process.

Once a father felt disturbed when his son made noise. He thought of a method to calm his son. He tore a world map into pieces and asked his son to join them. To his surprise, the son came back with the world map neatly pasted, in a few minutes.

How did you this? Asked the father. The son replied, “Behind the world map, there was a picture of a man and I could join them easily.” Here the father, who was not aware of son’s potential, was finally led to discover it. It is an awakening for the father that he could channalise his son’s energy and intelligence for a positive cause.

Let us change ourselves. The world will change by itself. At the same time, let us not get lost in changing only ourselves and forget to include others in our growth. We live in an “I and you” world.

Think over on the following.

To a question, “Who is flying the kite”?

A boy replies, “I am flying the kite”.

The tail of the kite says, “I am flying the kite”.

The string says, “I am flying the kite”.

Voice of the lord said, “Oh! Children, we are flying the kite”.

Hence, the Vedic prayer says, “Let us all be Enlightened.”

We can relax in this world only when we teach our selves and others to strengthen our strengths and weaken our weakness.

Whatever be our weakness, if we identify it, the negative thought centre in us will lose its grip on us.

Life is both fair and unfair. Learn to be a good discoverer. Studies show that happy people are good discoverers and also have the courage to encounter unfairness.

Let our goodness come from our strengths, not from weakness.
