A Little girl and her Father

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."
The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl. "If I hold your
hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand
go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens,
you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in
its bond.
So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them
to hold yours...

Letter to Mr.Bill Gates from Banta singh...

Dear Mr Bill Gates,

This letter is from Banta Singh. We have bought a computer for our home and we found problems, which I want to bring to your notice.

After connecting to internet we planned to open e-mail account and whenever we fill the form in Hotmail in the password column, only ****** appears, but in the rest of the fields whatever we typed appears, but we face this problem only in password field.

We checked with hardware vendor Santa Singh and he said that there is no problem in keyboard. Because of this we open the e-mail account with password *****.

I request you to check this as we ourselves do not know what the password is.

We are unable to enter anything after we click the shut down button.

There is a button 'start' but there is no stop button.

We request you to check this.

We find there is 'Run' in the menu. One of my friend clicked 'run' has ran upto Amritsar! So, we request you to change that to sit so that we can click that by sitting.

One doubt is that any 're-scooter' available in system? As I find only 're-cycle', but I own a scooter at my home.

Also there is 'Find' button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the door key and we tried a lot for tracing the key with this 'find', but unable to trace. Is it a bug??

Thanks,
Banta Singh

Something to think about... (Dont miss...) Really inspiring for youngsters.. WARREN BUFFET

Interesting aspects of life - Warren Buffet... .

The second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.

Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!

2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year.
He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.

Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.

8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago.
Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet.
So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him,
the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
His advice to young people: "Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and Remember:

A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.

B. Live your life as simple as you are.

C. Don't do what others say, just listen them, but do what you feel good.

D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which u feel comfortable.

E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on them who really in need rather.

F. After all it's your life then why give chance to others to rule our life."

A Proud Indian !

A Proud Indian !

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an American.
She asks her students to raise their hands if they were American too.
Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands
explode into the air like flashy fireworks.
There is, however, one exception.
A girl named Gita has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I am not an American." replied Gita.
"Then", asks the teacher, "What are you?"
"I'm a proud Indian," boasts the little girl.
The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Gita
why she is an Indian.
"Well", my mom and dad are Indians, "so I'm an Indian too."
The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason", she says loudly "if your mom
was an idiot, and your dad was an idiot, what would you be then?"
A pause, and a smile.
"Then" says Gita, "I'd be an American."

Love and Romance

The end of romance?

I love youThey're all saying it these days -- in schools and colleges, in parks and restaurants, at workplaces and in bedrooms, over the phone and through the e-mail.
They first say it as a declaration, then as an assurance. Even people who normally don't converse in English, when it comes to expressing this primary emotion, prefer 'I love you' to its vernacular equivalent.
Just as the way it happens in the movies: the hero or the heroine will flirt in the regional language, but the flirtation usually culminates with the mouthing of the inevitable 'I love you.' But when people say 'I love you' to each other, what exactly do they mean?
That they want to get married?
That they find each other irresistible?
Or is it an expression of affection or admiration?
Or an unstated agreement to have sex?
No one knows.
The answer is bound to be as complicated as the definition of love. But one thing is certain.

Ten years ago, when you said 'I love you', no matter what you meant by that, it was taken not only as a declaration of love but also of commitment.
It was sacred as a vow. And you usually said it only once in your lifetime -- to the person who eventually became your spouse.
And the pleasure of saying it was similar to using a smuggled French perfume. Today, you can get the same perfume in the neighbourhood departmental store.
Similarly, 'I love you' is now a free commodity. " Today, 'I love you' no longer means you are the only one I love. It is only an expression of feeling," Says psychiatrist
.

"People are in a great hurry to fall in love.
Having an affair has become a status symbol,
especially on campuses.'' So today, people are falling in love more often than ever before.
And not just with one person. Today you might be in love with someone, but you are free to walk out if the relationship is stifling and fall in love with someone else. Unlike the days of the past when only death could do you apart. Does that mean the present generation
is less sincere when it says 'I love you'?
I doesn't think so.
"They no longer say it to express a commitment.
I believe they mean it when they say it," Perhaps, with culture and tradition, relationships have become flexible too.
Take the case of my friend journalist who relocated in metro a year ago. Friendless in a new city,
he took to the Internet chatrooms. There he met Girl, 18, a student of College. They fell in love even before they met; and when they met, a passionate affair began. But in less than six months, she was gone, after having declared her love a million times. "I think she grew out of the relationship. But when she used to tell me 'I love you', I could see she meant every bit of it," says my friend journalist, who nursed a broken heart for a while before moving on -- to other women, of course. Today, both speak on the phone occasionally, like "good friends."
Sounds like a filmi divorce story! But that's how it happens these days, except in films where the girl and the boy fall in love and live happily ever after. "Rarely do we see a love affair culminating in marriage. Often we find that the victim of an unsuccessful affair soon gets into another one,''
I views this casual attitude of today's youth as a dangerous trend. "When one runs from one relationship to another, it becomes a character trait, only to be continued in future,'' So where does this leave love? my another friend said,''The word love means nothing to me at the moment," "But I know when I meet my knight in shining armour, then it will have a lot of significance. At this point in time, if someone said it to me, I would not believe him." Why not?
The answer is simple --
'I love you' is no longer the smuggled French perfume. Say it to any woman today and
she's unlikely to be impressed Instead, she's likely to turn back and ask: "How many people you have said this to before?" In any case, no one falls in love with a Tom, Dick or Harry these days
-- something that still happens in movies, where a autorickshaw driver wins the heart of a millionaire's daughter. In real life, it's among equals (something that the strict father of the erring heroine is looking for when pushing her into a room and locking her up).

we sees this as a natural phenomenon. "By and large, we are drawn to people who are compatible,
who we can relate to. That's the in-built safety mechanism love has.
Unless it is an act of rebellion," So you fall in love with and marry
someone compatible. After that what? "As long as you are in love minus the responsibilities,
you are crazy about it.
Once married, the colours start fading.
Moreover, where is the time
for romance after you have a child?" one women who, 17 years ago,
fought with her parents parents
and threatened them with dire consequences if they objected to her marrying the man of her choice.
"Now when I think of all those things, it seems so crazy,'' she says.
Is it really worth falling in love? For that, we have to first define love. And that's not as easy as saying, I love you.

Dell Agrees to Sell PCs at Retailer in China

BEIJING, Sept. 24 (Bloomberg News) — Dell Inc. said on Monday that it would begin selling desktop computers and laptops through China’s largest electronics retailer.

The company, based in Round Rock, Tex., will sell computers in 50 stores operated by Gome Electrical Appliances Holding in major Chinese cities, starting early next month, and will expand to other cities in the first half of next year, Dell said in a statement in Beijing.

Dell has made similar agreements in the United States, Japan and Europe this year as market share losses forced its chairman, Michael S. Dell, to end a two-decade-old practice of shunning retailers.

Gome’s stores may help Dell increase sales in China, the world’s second-largest PC market, where it trails the Lenovo Group, Hewlett-Packard and the Founder Technology Group.

Shares of Dell rose 11 cents, to $27.87, on Nasdaq.

As of the second quarter, Lenovo leads in China’s market for desktop computers and notebooks, with a 35.8 percent share, according to the research firm IDC. Hewlett-Packard is second, with 13.4 percent. It is followed by Founder Technology, based in Shanghai, with 12 percent. Dell is fourth, with 8.1 percent.

China’s growing wealth is fueling demand for electronic products. Disposable incomes of urban Chinese jumped 18 percent in the first half, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

“Over the next two years, the growth of the desktop market in China will make it a larger market than the U.S.,” said Michael Tatelman, vice president for marketing and sales for Dell global consumer business.

This year, Dell began selling computers in the United States through Wal-Mart Stores. It also forged agreements with the Carphone Warehouse Group in Britain and with Bic Camera in Japan. Last week, Dell said it planned to open its first retail store in Russia.

Bush Announces Tighter Sanctions on Myanmar

UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 25 — President Bush today chided nations to live up to the rights and freedoms the United Nations promised six decades ago, announced new sanctions on Myanmar and denounced the governments of Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Zimbabwe as “brutal regimes.”

Appearing at the opening of the 62nd session of the General Assembly, Mr. Bush called on members of the United Nations to do more to support nascent democracies and to oppose autocratic and tyrannical governments.

“Every civilized nation also has a responsibility to stand up for the people suffering under dictatorship,” Mr. Bush said.

Mr. Bush’s sharp comments were typical of his attacks on countries that the United States groups among the least democratic in the world. In the case of Myanmar, Mr. Bush excoriated the country’s military government, which in the last few weeks has faced the most extensive public protests in nearly two decades.

He outlined a tightening of financial sanctions on Myanmar and an extension of a ban on visas of officials “responsible for the most egregious violations of human rights” and their families.

“Americans are outraged by the situation in Burma, where a military junta has imposed a 19-year reign of fear,” Mr. Bush said. “Basic freedoms of speech, assembly, and worship are severely restricted. Ethnic minorities are persecuted. Forced child labor, human trafficking, and rape are common.”

Mr. Bush was one of the first speakers to take the lectern on the assembly’s opening day of speeches today, which also begins a week of diplomatic activity on the sidelines.

Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is scheduled to address the assembly later this afternoon, and other world leaders and government officials will speak during the week.

Mr. Bush held separate talks at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel today with Iraq’s prime minister, Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, today, in which the two leaders touched on the need for national reconciliation in Iraq, the necessity of passing new important legislation and the need for a stronger Iraqi security force,

They also discussed issues related to Blackwater USA, a private American security company involved in a shooting in Baghdad this month in which 11 people were killed.

Mr. Maliki has said that the shooting of the Iraqi civilians amounts to a challenge to the nation’s sovereignty. The Iraqi government has said it expects to refer criminal charges to its courts in connection with the shooting.

The Blackwater subject arose between Mr. Maliki and Mr. Bush as part of a general discussion of the recognition of Iraqi sovereignty, the national security adviser, Stephen J. Hadley, told reporters. But he added that Mr. Maliki discussed Blackwater directly with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

“The United States and Iraq are working together to look at this incident and related incidents,” he said.

An investigation is focusing on an episode on Sept. 16 in which Blackwater’s security guards opened fire in Nisour Square in western Baghdad.

At least 11 people were killed. It was the seventh episode in which the Iraqi authorities had cited Blackwater for the injurious behavior of its guards toward civilians.

After their talks, Mr. Bush expressed support and confidence in Mr. Maliki, reflecting his administration’s decision to continue backing him, an apparent reprieve after American talk of pushing him aside.

“And so I want to thank you for your dedication and your commitment to laws that will help this young democracy reconcile and move forward,” Mr. Bush said.

He noted that Mr. Maliki was “sitting in a vital region, and when you succeed — which I’m confident you will — it’ll send a message to other people who believe in peace.”

At the General Assembly before his meeting with Mr. Maliki, Mr. Bush spoke to an audience that included representatives of some of the countries he singled out for criticism, including Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Mr. Bush’s speech in the assembly is likely to be the closest the two men come to each other this week.

Before the speech, Laura Bush, the first lady, walked directly past Mr. Ahmadinejad , putting her right hand on the corner of his rostrum at one point, though no words were exchanged.

One delegation boycotting Mr. Bush’s speech was Cuba’s, leaving its three seats in the General Assembly hall empty.

In Cuba, Mr. Bush said, “the long rule of a cruel dictator is nearing its end.”

He called the government of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe — the only world leader he mentioned by name — “an assault on its people and an affront to the principles” of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Mr. Bush referred repeatedly to the declaration, citing its first article — “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights” — as well as the 23rd, 25th and 26th articles, which call for access to employment, health care and education.

The declaration, a nonbinding resolution, was negotiated in 1948 as a sort of international Bill of Rights. It calls for freedom of speech, assembly, and religion and prohibits slavery, torture and arbitrary detention.

The protests in Myanmar are taking place under the shadow of the possibility of a violent crackdown by the government. In 1988, some 3,000 people were killed when the military crushed larger pro-democracy protests. Although some reports have said that truckloads of soldiers moved into position at one point during the protests in Yangon today, the day’s protests dispersed without incident.

Since 1988, Myanmar has become the focus of international condemnation for its abuses of human and political rights and its treatment of the pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been under house arrest in Yangon for 12 of the past 18 years.

The United States has pressed for the release of Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi. Myanmar’s leaders, Mr. Bush said today, are “holding more than a thousand political prisoners”, including Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi, whose party he said had been elected overwhelmingly.

According to news reports from inside Myanmar, which is mostly sealed off to foreign reporters, about 4,000 monks gathered today, cheered on by several thousand supporters. A smaller number were reported marching in the country’s second largest city, Mandalay. The government later imposed a curfew.

In his remarks to the assembly, Mr. Bush touched on the issue of institutional reform of the United Nations, saying that the United States was open to the prospect of reform to the Security Council, including an expansion of its membership.

“We believe that Japan is well-qualified for permanent membership on the Security Council, and that other nations should be considered, as well,”‘ he said.

Dreams do come true...

Dreams do come true, but only when
They make it through despair,
Limping into everyday
Transformed beyond repair.

No dream would be a dream if it
Could pass for something real,
Nor would we sail for paradise
Would it its shoals conceal.

So it is with love: the dream
Long longed for, now possessed,
Must be a dream no longer, but
An emperor undressed.

Stark naked it must come to us
In unaccustomed shame,
And we must take it in our arms
And love it all the same.

And we must love love as it is
That dreams might still come true,
Mangled into miracles
To make our lives anew.

Don't go through life so fast, that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out
from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared.

Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes
and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The
angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up
against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what
the heck are you doing?

That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?" The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just
around a parked car. "It's my brother, "he said "He rolled off the curb and
fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me
get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in
his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the
wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.
"Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger. Too
shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy! push his
wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable,
but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the
dent there to remind him of this message: "Don't go through life so fast
that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!"

A Donkey in the Well

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer
tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be
covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to
come over and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement,
he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down the well, and was astonished at
what he saw.

As every shovel of dirt hit his back, the donkey did something amazing. He would shake it off and take
a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it
off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed, as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.

The Moral:

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less . . .

Daughter's Day: Loving the girl child

After institutionalising western concepts like Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and many others, Archies Ltd now aims to highlight the cause of the girl child - a cause intrinsic to our country.

Daughter's Day is the celebration of the girl child. Through this we are trying to drive home the fact that the daughter is as good as the son. We are trying to break to break age-old myth that a daughter is a 'cause' to be pitied and sympathized for. We wanted to remind people the adage that, "a son is a son till he gets a wife, but a daughter is a daughter for life" . This occasion would also give an opportunity to parents to show their daughters how precious they are to them and reinforce the fact that a daughter, is in no way lesser than a son.

Everyday hundreds of girl foetuses are being aborted , new-born girls being thrown into dustbins, the girl child being given less food and education than their brothers. Girls being traded across the country as breeding stock, they are being burnt for dowry. How can this be limited to metros. Yes, we do have specific states in mind, especially the northern part of the country but we expect this to have a rippling effect all over.

Not only this day, but on all days
I remember you and love you,
May many happy thoughts of yours
Appear in my mind, as many moments,
Since you are so special, from
Your birth, my lone daugther.
You are the symbol of all daughters
In the world and of feminity,
So much ruled by male schauvanism,
Let all the elements in the world,
Bless you to equal man and
His useless prowess, which does
Nothing but to please you
And show off his masculilinity
And Superiority to the world.

From the time you were born,
You lived as if to fulfill my dreams,
Hundreds of times you were filled
With ecstacy and pride when
You were a tiny tot, at my touch,
But alas, you lost the same,
As you grew to adult hood,
'Cause of your feelings on manhood.

Neverthless, here are millions
Of bouquets fo love and affection,
And may you grow to be the lady of
My dreams, labour and 'xpectations.

May also alll daughters of today,
Be released from the fears
Of molestations and highhandedness,
May they be brave into the world,
So they make the world finer,
And teach their sons to be best men.

Yuvraj blasts his way into history

September 19, 2007

Yuvraj Singh's savage assault on Stuart Broad made him the first batsman to hit six sixes in an over in Twenty20 internationals and the fourth in senior cricket. Garry Sobers and Ravi Shastri did it in first-class matches, Herschelle Gibbs in the World Cup and now Yuvraj. This is the excerpt from Cricinfo's ball-by-ball commentary ...

Yuvraj Singh hit six sixes in an over and reached his 50 off just 12 balls © Getty Images

18.1 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, that's out the ground, super shot over cow corner and it just kept going up.

18.2 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, now that really is sweet, no more than a dismissive flick off his legs, swatting a fly, and the ball arcs deep into the crowd beyond backward square leg. The dodgy TV measurement says that's 111 yards but as it landed outside the ground how do they know? They guess that's how.

18.3 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, he's hitting them everywhere, he steps to leg and smashes the ball over extra cover and it keeps on traveling. The fireworks start on top of the scoreboard and they've been going off in the middle for some time.

18.4 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, Shiver me timbers! Broad goes round the wicket, bowls a filthy wide full toss and Yuvraj steers it over backward point and it clears the rope again.

18.5 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, down on one knee and larruped over midwicket, that one was more nine iron, it went into the night sky and dropped with a thud in the jubilant crowd. England have a team meeting.

Broad looks quizzical and miserable. Can he, can Yuvraj do it. Broad looks like a man who knows he is about to be mauled again.

18.6 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, and he has, Yuvraj leans back and smacks that over wide mid-on. It was the maximum from the moment it left that bat and the crowd was roaring as it flew.

These are our rules!
Please note.. these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

1. Crying is blackmail.

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS, DO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

1. No Breakfast

People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating

It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking

It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption

Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution

The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation

Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping

Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness

Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts

Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely

Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."

Because:

Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3am : detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am : detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am : detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am : absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Meet "The Artist" of the Google Logos:

More than 150 million Web surfers around the globe celebrated Korean Independence Day Aug. 15, 2001. Well, at least for a few moments while they were visiting the popular Internet search engine Google. That day, the Korean national flag and several roses of Sharon, the Korean national flower, adorned the familiar "Google" logo on the homepage of the Web site.

Just another day's work for Dennis Hwang (Hwang Jung-moak), a 23-year-old Korean computer artist in the United States , who has been drawing the face of Google for almost two years, creating a buzz of sorts with his simple yet witty designs.

With its seemingly magical ability to produce the most relevant search results, Google is already an established destination for the Internet savvy. Recently, Hwang's creative logos have been expressing the playful heart of Google behind the impressive technology.

For Piet Mondrian's birthday, Hwang transformed the "Google" logo to emulate the artist's signature style of utilizing colorful blocks. Claude Monet's birthday saw the logo turned into a dreamy watercolor, complete with floating lily pads.

East Or West India Is The Best ( Short & Sweet. Do Read )

A little boy wanted Rs.50 very badly and prayed for
weeks, but nothing happened.

Finally he decided to write God a letter requesting
the Rs.50.

When the postal authorities received the letter
addressed to God , INDIA , they decided to forward it to
the Prime Minister of the India as a joke.

The Prime Minister was so amused, that he instructed
his secretary to send the little boy Rs.20.

The Prime Minister thought this would appear to be a
lot of money (Rs.50) to a little boy, and he did not
want to spoil the kid.

The little boy was delighted with Rs.20, and decided
to write a thank you note to God, which read:

"Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money.
However, I noticed that you sent it through the Prime
Minister Office (North Block) in New Delhi , and those
Donkeys deducted Rs.30 in taxes ...

One day a girl licked the envelopes and postage stamps instead of using a sponge.

One day a girl licked the envelopes and postage stamps instead of using a sponge. That very day the lady found a cut on her tongue. A week later, she noticed an abnormal swelling of her tongue. She went to the doctor, and they found nothing wrong. Her tongue was not sore or anything. A couple of days later, her tongue started to swell more, and it began to get really sore, so sore, that she could not eat. She went back to the hospital, and demanded something be done. The doctor took an x-ray of her tongue and noticed a lump. He prepared her for minor surgery. When the doctor cut her tongue open, a live cockroach crawled out!!!!

There were cockroach eggs on the seal of the envelope. The egg was able to hatch inside of her tongue, because of her saliva. It was warm and moist...

This is a true story reported on CNN.

Andy Hume wrote:
Hey, I used to work in an envelope factory. You wouldn't believe the....things that float around in those gum applicator trays. I haven't licked an envelope for years!" I used to work for a print shop (32 years ago) and we were told NEVER to lick the envelopes. I never understood why until I had to go into storage and pull out 2500 envelopes that were already printed and saw several squads of cockroaches roaming around inside a couple of boxes with eggs everywhere. They eat the glue on the envelopes.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON, TO YOUR FRIENDS. After reading this you will never lick another envelope or stamp.
